Prevent 3D Printed & Unauthorized Key Copies

Medeco’s M4 system features a patented movable element within the key, designed to prevent unauthorized duplication, including 3D printed key copies. Without this advanced feature, copied or unapproved key blanks cannot operate the lock, helping protect your facility from unauthorized access.

Pick & Bump Protection

Medeco M4 cylinder’s continued innovation and engineering use cylinder side pins, a shuttle lift pin, and a movable key element to engage a sidebar that prevents the key from turning until the elements are rotated and aligned in the correct position, protecting against bumping, picking and other attacks.

Protect Against Physical Attacks on Locks & Doors

Medeco M4 cylinders are UL 437 listed and engineered to resist drilling, picking, and other forms of physical attack. This high level of protection helps deter unauthorized access before it even begins.

Angled Key Cuts

To ensure continued difficulty for unauthorized personnel, a special key-cutting machine and controlled access to Medeco-specific blanks are required to duplicate M4 keys, which are available in multiple levels of restriction to support every need.
